These are for a birthday boy who likes Adidas...and I'm guessing he likes Liverpool too since his girlfriend asked for the Liverpool bird to be included as well? :p

Princess Aurora aka Sleeping Beauty cupcakes
This was for a friend's daughter who was celebrating her 5th birthday today. Last year she went with all the Disney Princesses. This year, after much deliberation and many surprising choices (hehe....) she finally decided on Princess Aurora. For those who are not familiar with that name, she is actually Sleeping Beauty.
Beautiful cupcakes for a beautiful birthday girl, how fitting, no? :)

Snow White, fairest of them all!
It was all boys yesterday with Ben 10. Today, it's totally girly, with Snow White!
A Snow White birthday cake accompanied with Snow White cupcakes for birthday girl, Kaylyn.
It's quite a feat that Snow White has managed to retain her charm with girls all these years since Walt Disney's 1937 cartoon. That's like 73 years! I was Snow White too when I was 7, but that's another story for another time....hehe :p

Ben 10 cupcakes
One of the favourites among young boys nowadays, Ben 10 has gained popularity in recent years. I guess boys will always be fascinated with characters with super powers :) Haha, I don't really get it though as I haven't watched the show myself, or maybe it's a girl thing with me :p
But it doesn't matter, as long as these cupcakes put a smile on the birthday boy's face, that's good enough for me!

21st birthday cupcakes for a Navy guy
Sweet Tricia wants to surprise her boyfriend Kelvin for his 21st birthday...ah....young love.... reminds me of when I was 21..... :p and that was like errrr....ok, not so long ago hahaha!
21 cupcakes for a 21st birthday. Tricia gave me an idea of what she wanted and left the rest to me (yay! I get to excercise my artistic licence!) She wanted their photo, an indication of a 21st birthday and some cupcakes that speak Kelvin. She left the design and the colour choice to me and I am really grateful that she trusted me to be able to come up with something special for her boyfriend's birthday :)
As Kelvin is currently serving in the Navy, I decided to have blue waves and to have icons depicting the Navy. I also decided to mould his name and his age as a fondant topper, a letter and number for each cupcake and each topper would "ride" the waves. I also added the symbol of the Navy as well as the nautical star.
Here's wishing the young couple life-long happiness!
(apologies for the horrible photos and lighting, was rushing to snaps pics when the cupcakes were being packed in the box and ready to be picked up!)
Update 30 Nov 09
Tricia sent me these pics of the birthday celebration. Looks like everyone had fun!

Mario Kart whizzes by!
I remember Mario as a 2D character punching bricks and stomping on mushrooms, when I was playing Super Mario Bros on the Nintendo Famicom yonks ago (oops....:p). Years on, Mario and his posse of friends (and "enemies") still live on, albeit in a much more sophisticated form.
And it looks like will continue to be a favourite among the kids! It's rather strange isn't it, that kids take to this little Italian guy with the huge handelbar moustache......hahahaha!

It's Ryan's 4th birthday and mummy Dawn wants to invite Thomas and his friends to the birthday party!
Well, in case you haven't guessed it, yes, those little trains are a favourite of Ryan's. What better way to send the birthday boy over the moon? :p

CUP-cakes!
Well....hmm, what should I say? This part of the woman's anatomy seems to be a popular choice for cakes :p
Karen's friends decided to give her a surprise for her birthday celebration and I'm guessing these cupcakes were also a celebration of the female form hee hee......
I must mention again that I'm really a G-rated baker most of the time. Sometimes PG, like now....but I guess PG's still ok. M18 adn R21? Hmmm, I shall have to think twice haha :p
