A Snow White Princess cake for birthday girl Ashlyn. To cater enough cake for all the children at her school, we decided to have Snow White in a forest scene and hence, there were the two tree stump cakes in the background in case the we ran out of "skirt cake" :p

This 2-tier cake was for a music lover's 21st birthday. She told me her idea of a dream cake with the elements that she wanted on the cake and I'm glad I was able to make her dream cake for her journey into adulthood :)

Birthday girl Sophie loves Cera, the cute triceratops from the movie The Land Before Time. Hence, her doting daddy got me to make her birthday cake in the form of Cera.

A friend of mine was celebrating her birthday together with her mum and her nephew. All 3 had birthdays around the same period. So the dinos were for the boy, the flowers for the mum and the cats fro my friend.

Birthday boy Mel love scuba diving, so sis decided to make him a scuba diver cake for his birthday. And to make it more exciting, Mel was "challenged" to outswim the friendly looking shark :)

Angry Birds! Ha Hoo Ha!

Angry Birds! Who isn't crazy about this insanely addictive game? My kids certanly are. So I decided to surprise my younger son with this huge Angry Bird for his 5th birthday in school. Well, the kids were all really excited that Angry Bird came to visit :) Best part was, my son was thrilled and that was good enough for me :)

 

The mini birds and pigs were cross-eyed work! So tiny my fingers looked fat beside them! Especially making those teeny tiny eyes, gosh!

Cars!

An old friend of mine whose son is a huge fan of the cartoon Cars, ordered this cake for his third birthday. Just so happened I was on holiday to Hong Kong Disneyland and picked up these toy Cars for the cake. I was glad they all could fit pretty nicely on it! 

Fly Away with Hello Kitty!

This set of Hello Kitty cupcakes are for birthday girl, Alexis. Mummy was very considerate to make sure the boys at the party had something other than Hello Kitty to choose from. We settled on balloons as they are pretty nuetral and at the same time colourful and pretty :)

High heel shoe with shoebox cake

I was told the birthday girl likes shopping, shoes and bags so we decided on a cake that is related to one of those elements. I've done a shoe before, but I really wanted to try doing another one, especially since I was given free reign of the design and I was eager to try out some new techniques :) I love it when I'm trusted to come up with a design for a cake. I am free to excercise my creativity!

  
I loved how the shoe turned out, especially the shimmer effect I applied to the "fabric" of the shoe. And this must be one of my favourite colour combis, pink and dark brown! Pretty!

Nikon Camera Cake

It was my friend's hubby's 30th birthday and he's a big photography buff. So she requested for a cake in the shape of his camera, a Nikon D700.  

  
I decided to complete the whole look by adding in photographs of himself with his family. The camera is all cake. You can even eat the lens!

A sweet Valentine's Day

This mini 2-tier cake was a surprise my friend got for her hubby for Valentine's Day. She had it delivered to his workplace and I'm sure he must have been really happy :)
