Rosy Cupcakes

Green and yellow, fitting colours for a Hari Raya Celebration :)

The green ones are Lemon Citrus Cupcakes topped with luscious Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting while the yellow ones are Vanilla Cupcakes topped with decadent Vanilla Buttercream. Sedap!

Lemon Citrus Cupcakes

Today was a rare day where I had time to play around in the kitchen and things actually turned out good!

I was tweaking a lemon cupcake recipe and am I glad I got it right! It turned out moist just like I wanted it to and it had the delicious lemony tang to it. Awesome... one of my happy kitchen days! As this batch was a bake-test, I skipped the frosting so of course what you see in the pics are naked cupcakes. They will look more attractive when they are dressed up with frosting :) But I must say, they taste really good on their own...yum.... Someone stop me from going back to the kitchen to stuff my face with more cupcakes!
